Which grades do you teach in the Qatari curriculum?

Our programmes focus on Grades 11 and 12: mathematics, physics, chemistry and Arabic in Grade 12, and mathematics and English in Grade 11. These are the years whose results feed the General Secondary Certificate. If the student is in another grade, tell us in the enquiry and we will say plainly whether we can help.

Are the lessons in Arabic?

Lessons follow the language the student studies in. Mathematics, physics, chemistry and Arabic are explained in Arabic, as they are taught in government schools, and Grade 11 English is taught in English. Tell us the school and track when you enquire, so we match the right tutor.

How do lessons fit the exam windows?

The ministry publishes the calendar for the year, so lessons are planned backwards from each window. In 2026-2027, semester 1 finals run from 6 to 15 December 2026, and Grade 12 semester 2 finals from 1 to 17 June 2027. Revision steps up in the weeks before each window.

What does Qatar University ask for?

Qatar University asks for a minimum of 70% in the Qatari secondary certificate for admission, and individual colleges may set further requirements. A tutor can help a student set a clear target in each Grade 12 subject and track progress through the semester exams.

How do online lessons work for the national curriculum?

Every lesson is live and online, one tutor with one learner, joined from home on a computer or tablet. The tutor writes and explains on a shared whiteboard, the student solves in the same space, and lessons run in Qatar time after school, Sunday to Thursday, or at the weekend.

Grades 11 and 12 carry the weight in the Qatari system: students work within a track, and Grade 12 results lead to the General Secondary Certificate. How it is structured

Stages, tracks and a calendar of exam windows

Government schools move through primary (Grades 1 to 6), preparatory (Grades 7 to 9) and secondary (Grades 10 to 12). In Grades 11 and 12 students follow a track, such as scientific, humanities or technology, with further specialised tracks in banking and business. Each year has two semesters, each with mid-term and final exams, and Grade 12 closes with the General Secondary Certificate.

Stages: Primary Grades 1 to 6, preparatory Grades 7 to 9, secondary Grades 10 to 12.
